1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HOA Base ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

HOA Base is a cloud-based HOA management software platform that provides tools for financial management, resident communication, maintenance tracking, violation management, document storage, and community portals for homeowners associations and property management companies.

3. Account Responsibilities

When you create an account with HOA Base, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Transmit harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive content
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service
  • Collect personal information of others without consent
  • Use the Service for any purpose other than HOA or community management

5. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service. HOA Base does not claim ownership of your content. We will not access, use, or share your data except as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law.

6. Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HOA Base shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After that period, we may delete your data in accordance with our data retention policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which HOA Base operates.
